Depression, sadness and bad mood tend to be a common problem. Certain herbs are said to have a mood-elevating effect. Passionflower, lavender and valerian have been traditionally used for their calming effect, while St. John’s wort has been used as a strong natural anti-depressant. Kava kava has been shown in more than a dozen placebo-controlled studies to be effective for treatment of generalized anxiety stress, depression and insomnia. Most importantly, this tea tastes addictively good!
None of these above statements have been evaluated by the FDA.
