Chrysanthemum Flower Tea has a delicate, slightly floral aroma and a slightly sweet and refreshing taste. This caffeine-free tea is made of the whole chrysanthemum flowers of the species Chrysanthemum morifolium or Chrysanthemum indicum, which are most popular in East Asia.
Chrysanthemum tea contains adenine, choline, vitamins A, B, amino acids, glycosides, volatile oil and more.
The aromatic, floral drink is transparent and ranges from pale to bright yellow in color. In Chinese medicine it is used to maintain healthy cholesterol level, to normalize blood pressure, to improve blood flow, to help with diminished vision and other eye problems, to sharpen the vision and hearing, to improve liver function, to calm the nerves and clear the brain, to soothe sore throat, to detoxify the body, and to increase immunity.
